About Us

The idea for NBN Information came in 2013, when the national broadband network was built in my local area, and that same year, I also got connected to the national broadband network

Many of my friends and family were complaining that videos were often buffering and Linux distributions were taking forever to download.

In 2014, I bought this domain name. I was thinking, one day, the whole of Australia would be on the national broadband network, so why don’t I create a website to help those users experiencing slow speeds.

My original idea was to make a one page website with information and tips on how users can improve their broadband speed, such as using Ethernet or downloading content from a local server.
